Question
Will there be transportation provided to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
Guests are welcome to drive to and from Plattekill Mountain. Cars can be left overnight in case your plans change! Be sure to arrive no later than 3:00PM! Transportation to the Mountain from designated pick up locations below has been set up (don't be late!) ROXBURY (Roxbury Library Parking Lot - 53742 NY 30 Roxbury, NY 12471) Bus will depart at 2:25PM MARGARETVILLE (Freshtown Marketplace - Margaretville 36 Bridge Street Margaretville, NY 12455) Bus will depart at 2:15PM HANAH MOUNTAIN RESORT (for guests staying at the resort) Bus will depart at 2:25PM Guests taking the provided transportation to the mountain will also have bus transportation home from the mountain to the same pickup locations - departure times will be 9:30PM & 10:30PM from the Mountain.

When should I book my lodging?
Answer
We strongly encourage all of our guests to book their accommodations as soon as possible! This is a peak weekend for foliage and there are other wedding venues in the area. Your best best is to book your accommodations immediately before they all fill up!

Where is the best place to stay for the weekend?
Answer
There are numerous AirBnB's, VRBO's, B&B's, motels and hotels in the Roxbury area! We suggest that guests coming with groups of friends or family book one large house or at one hotel/motel to expedite transportation on the day of the wedding. If possible, please book your accommodations as close to Plattekill Mountain as possible!

Are my children invited to the wedding?

As much as we love your little ones, this is an adult-only event!

What if I don't want to take the chair lift to the top of the mountain?
Answer
No worries! An SUV will be available to take guests to/from the top of the mountain for the wedding ceremony. Please let us know if you would like car transportation so we can plan accordingly.

What parts of the wedding will be outdoors?
Answer
Barring inclement weather, the Ceremony (mountaintop) and Cocktail Hour (Ski Lodge Deck) will be outdoors. Indoor seating for the Cocktail Hour and Dinner will be available.

What will the weather be like in the Catskills during October?
Answer
We are HOPING for blue skies and sunshine so everyone can enjoy the beautiful foliage of the Catskills. Expect the weather to be in the low-mid 50's with temperatures dropping throughout the night. We recommend bringing some type of jacket, coat, shawl, etc. to stay warm throughout the ceremony and festivities! And comfortable shoes!
