North Beach is one of our favourite areas of the City. No need to book a reservation for Tony's Pizza - you can add your name to the waitlist (either in person or online via yelp) and head to Original Joe's across the street for a cocktail while you wait. Be prepared to have the best pizza of your life!

The Buena Vista Cafe is the home of the first ever Irish Coffee. It has a great view of Alcatraz and a ton of history!

Take the ferry from San Francisco's Pier 1 to Sausalito and have lunch at Scoma's of Sausalito. This is the day trip we took when Darragh's family first visited us in San Francisco, and it was such a fun day out!
