FAQs

Question

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 25, 2026. **Please note: If you did not list a guest or family member on your original information, you will need to let us know who is coming with you. The more the merrier, but we need to have enough food and drink for y’all!**

Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

We recommend semi-formal attire, but this is only a suggestion. Please dress nicely and wear what makes you feel your best! Please note, April is unpredictable here in the south so keep checking the weather up to your scheduled arrival. Please wear shoes that are grass friendly.

Question

DO YOU HAVE ANY HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved hotel blocks at the hotels that are listed under the 'Travel' tab. **Please note, the last day to get the block rate is 4/10**

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm, so please do your best to arrive and be seated 15 minutes prior! The shuttles will have their first pickup at 2:30pm. Our DJ will already be here and playing tunes, cornhole will be set up and there will be beverages to enjoy, so feel free to come early and enjoy our beautiful farm!

Question

IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE WEDDING?

Answer

There is a shuttle service provided from the 2 preferred hotels from 2:30-10pm. Ride services are sparse in the area, so please plan accordingly. We plan on a small after party at our home (next door to the wedding), after all wedding vendors have gone for the evening. If you drive, please be prepared with a sober designated driver. Carpooling is of course encouraged.

Question

ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

Answer

Children are welcome, but be advised that we are on a 140-acre piece of land that has lots of wildlife and opportunities for "wandering", we ask that you please keep your children in sight.

Question

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING ON SITE?

Answer

There will be shuttles from the 2 hotels starting at 2:30pm. The last shuttle of the evening will be at 10:00pm. If you drive, please be aware of the limited parking and follow signs. Please note we do NOT want people driving down Gilmore Farm Road, please take the driveway from Swanns Station Road and follow signs.

Question

Is there anything I should know about getting there?

Answer

Yes! We live on Swanns Station Road, and the wedding will be held next door in our aunt and uncle’s yard. Navigation often tells people to turn down Gilmore Farm Road. Please DO NOT take this road as it is a highly residential dirt road. Please follow the signs and turn onto the long driveway, on Swanns Station Road (next to the cemetery). Follow the driveway to the end and there will be signs for parking.
