Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding is completely outdoors. It will be summer in California which will be comfortable if a little hot. There will be plenty of shade in the garden, and the reception will be all shaded with an overhang ceiling.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. For women, think quality fabrics and hemlines ranging from knee-length to ankle-length. For men, a suit and tie in any color is perfect.

Are there accommodations near the venue or hotel blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms at The Pasadena Hotel & Pool. Just make sure to use the link in our “Accommodations” section to get the discounted rate—it’s already built in, so the price you see is final.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

No, you are responsible for your own transportation to the ceremony at Storrier Stearns Japanese Garden and back to your hotel at the end of the night. The ceremony is 8 minutes from the Hotel, and Pasadena is an urban area with lots of options surrounding you. The only transportation we have arranged is from the ceremony to the reception.

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

Not unless specified on your invitation. This is a strict policy.

Is this wedding kid-friendly?

Answer

We love your kids, but this is an adults only party with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearer. Enjoy your date-night moms and dads!

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

We are still working on the registry, but it will be linked here at the top of our website. There will also be an option to contribute to our honeymoon fund and we are SO appreciate of either one.

Will there be an after party?

Answer

Yes!! We're still figuring out the spot but likely a bar in downtown Pasadena, walkable from the reception.
