Bride
The woman fully intending to go through with her foolproof plan of stealing Cutter Wurl's last name.
Groom
The man who stole Laura's heart and refuses to let go of it.
Maid of Honor
Kinley.... well she says I was her's before I was Cutter's... which is true. ;) Kinley and I have been friends since we were infants! She has always been a sister to me. She's fun, funny (has an insane wit I cannot compete with), not to mention extremely beautiful and talented! From our nerf wars to art, and card games to quips, we have a blast. I wouldn't change a SINGLE THING about her. :) She has been my sister way before I can remember. I love her like crazy and I am beyond thrilled to be "legally" sisters. :D
Best Man
Ryan has been with me all throughout high school. Whenever I get a crazy idea into my head Ryan is always the one who will find some way that we can make it work. We've created so many different contraptions and have gone on so many wild adventures. Our typical adventure is racing down the Wenatchee river on paddle boards and seeing how few times we fall in. I look forward to many more years of adventuring
Bridesmaid
Brooklyn, Kinley, and I were roommates for a 4th of July trip coming up on 3 years ago. I don't think I've ever hit it off with anyone so quickly. She made me laugh all the time, we would start (and finish) songs that really everyone else just rolled their eyes at, and we got almost NO sleep that trip. I LOVE this girl! And am THRILLED to have her by Cutter & I's side for the wedding. She's bee cheering us on from the beginning. ;)
Bridesmaid
This girl, Deanna and I went through highschool together. If that doesn't tell you something, I don't know what to say. Highschool is awkward enough on it's own, but Deanna turned the awkward to our advantage. We had fun with it! She taught me how to let loose and yeah, pushed me out of my comfort zone, but with her help I grew so much as a person. I couldn't have asked for a more encouraging friend through some really hard years. She took Cutter & I's engagement photos and I found out that day that you can actually have FUN while someone is trying to get you to pose for pictures. She is an AMAZING photographer and I am so thankful for her (for so many reasons). :)
Groomsman
Coleman is my younger brother. He has put up with me since he was born which is saying a lot. He's incredibly fun and a joy to have around. My sister and I often say that he's learned everything he can from us then improved on it. He's super smart and can often be found studying in his room when he's not playing soccer or hanging out with friends. He's a great brother and an amazing guy to have around
Groomsman
Jason is my friend that got me into climbing. Knowing full well I have a fear of heights he would make me climb up a route and not let me down until I had reached the top. This must have worked as I kept going with him to the wall the year afterwards. As well as being a super kind guy he's also an amazing cook. He's tried to teach me to cook many times unfortunately to no avail.
Groomsman & Bride's Brother
Caleb has been my (Laura's) best friend growing up. Growing up with such a wonderful and caring brother has always been the biggest blessing. Yes, we faught like cats and dogs as kids, but we always ended the day loving the time we got to spend together. We shared a room for a majority of our lives. (17 years) I am so thankful for the wonderful brother I have been given and loved all of my life. :) We got into the best... and sometimes worst... kinds of trouble together. I have memories of us taking the home-phones at night, hiding under our covers, and using them as walkie-talkies. Because, y'know, when mom said "no talking" she didn't mean over the phone right? ;)
Mother of the Bride
Where would I be without this phenominal woman? I don't even want to think about it. Her abundance of grace, kindness, love, strength, courage, and care has been such a testimate of what a woman ought to be. I strive to be more like her each day. I hope one day, I can demonstrate and have the kind of patience she had with me. Because let me tell you, I know for SURE it had to be a struggle. ;) Cutter calls me his little firecracker and fireball... and he's not kidding. This amazing woman dealt with an increadible composure. She is not only my superhero, but my biggest fan. :) Some of my favorite memories with her include talking at nights about anything and everything, laughing deliriously through rediculous and hard situations, and the encouragement and prayers she always had for me. :)
Father of the Bride
My wonderful father taught me what a man should be. He is the reason I know I've picked the right one in Cutter. He's been the leader of my family and has taken that role with a vigor, grace, and strength that I've never seen matched. I love my dad. Most people say I look most like him. Well it doesn't stop there. ;) We are two peas in a pod! I remember my 17th Birthday, Him, mom, and I went on a drive after getting dinner. We invented the first ever "Hand/Wind/Driving/Moonroof instrument ever. We sang at the top of our lungs going down the most winding road of all time. I will never forget special moments like this. :) He is the most hard-working man I've ever met and I hope someday to have the kind of leadership and devotion to my family that he has.
Mother of the Groom
Mom has always been there to support me through the best and worst years. She has an amazing sense of humor and is always letting us kids tease her. Not to say she doesn't dish it out right back. She has made fun super fun while still keeping a watchful eye out to protect us. Mom has put up with so much and provided so much grace to me. She is one of the kindest people you've ever met and I couldn't wish for a better Mom.
Father of the Groom
Dad is always there to help me whenever times get tough. If us kids ever have a problem we always know we can go to Dad to come up with a solution. He has taught me to be strong and how to lead a household. He cares deeply for all of his kids. He is very entertaining and will always make sure to find time to come and mess with us if we are being to quiet.
Flower Girl
This beautiful, fun-loving, joyful, charming girl is my wonderful sister. Insanely smart, pink, princess, dresses, loves snow and winter... as sisters go, we're so oposite in some ways it's ridiculous. ;) But I love the heck out of her! We share a love of music and dancing crazily in the comfort and privacy of my room. ;) She is such a wonderful example for me. Her forgiving and loving heart is something I so appreciate about her. Lydia absolutely ADORES Cutter. He was her second big brother before Cutter had even asked me to marry him. In fact, Cutter and I came home from a dinner out one evening, and she came running to the door screaming "Cutter! It's Cutter! Cutter's back, yaaaaaaeeeeee!!!" ...so I obviously waved and said "and Laura! yaaaaeeeee". She just laughed at me. ;)
Ring Bearer
This handsome young man is my amazing little brother. I love this kid like crazy! He's my little "sweety-boy" and I keep telling him he needs to stop growing! One time he told me "I would if I could, for you!" I just about fell over with how much my heart hurt and felt fantastic at the same time. All I could do was hug him. He is such an intelligent, thoughtful, handsome, sweet, funny, and fun baby brother. (Though he's no longer a baby and I'm having withdrawls from his toddler days.) He will still sit with me when we get time to watch cartoons together and I LOVE it! I am so blessed by him every single day.
