Our wedding will take place within a full Catholic Mass, which is both a joyful celebration and a sacred act of worship. The ceremony includes prayers, readings from Scripture, a homily (a short reflection by the priest), and the exchange of vows. There will also be moments of standing, sitting, and kneeling, feel free to simply follow along with those around you. At the heart of the Mass is the Eucharist (Holy Communion). Catholics believe the Eucharist is the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, not symbolic, but truly present, and it is considered the “source and summit” of their faith and daily lives. Because of this belief, receiving Communion is reserved for practicing Catholics who have been fully initiated into the Church, including Confirmation. If you are not Catholic or do not wish to receive Communion, you are warmly invited to remain in your seat or come forward with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing instead.
The dress code is formal and cocktail attire. As our ceremony will be in a Catholic Church, please refrain from wearing anything too revealing, and please no white-based dresses. We encourage fall colors and jewel tones!
Please RSVP by September 30, 2026. Due to venue limitations, there will not be adequate space to accommodate guest who have missed the RSVP window. Thank you for your understanding.
Our guest count is limited, therefore plus one’s are by invitation only. Thank you for your understanding!
We are working on finding recommended hotels for any price to be listed on our "travel" tab of this website. Many families are using websites like AirBnB and VRBO to book independent rentals for their stay in New Orleans as well.
Both locations have street parking and our church has a parking lot. We strongly encourage carpooling and Uber to save space and allow our guests stress-free transportation.
Yes! Both the ceremony and reception locations are wheelchair and handicapped accessible.
