Weather permitting- outside! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the groomed sand. The reception area will then be on a terrace, outdoors overlooking the golf course.
Semi-formal. Ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the beach- wear comfortable shoes or feel free to take them off for this portion :)
The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the South Beach located at the resort. There will then be shuttles to Spike N Tees, also located on the resort grounds, where the reception portion will commence. Transportation will pick up guests staying at The Hyatt Regency Downtown Sarasota at 4:15 pm to bring to the ceremony. Shuttle buses back to the hotel will also be provided at 10:00pm, making round trips as needed until the conclusion of the event at 11:00pm.
Unfortunately, Sarasota recently went through the devastation of Hurricane Milton. Although it is not looking its best at the moment, it is still beautiful! Downtown historic district is completely open, with an abundance of bars and restaurants. Our favorite Italian restaurant is Classico on Main Street, and El Melvin for Mexican. Go to the Westin or Art Ovation rooftop for a cocktail during sunset. Another fun spot is Bar Hana- a tropical themed bar with delicious bites. Brewster’s on Main Street is our go-to sports bar, with plenty of TVs and great bar food. Lakewood Ranch is 15 minutes away, with tons of modern restaurants, breweries, live music, and wine bars located at Waterside. If you need any recommendations - please reach out and ask :)
