Question

Who was your photographer?

Answer

S. Jolley Photography - https://sjolleyphoto.com/ Suzanne Jolley and her daughter Shannon were the photographers. Suzanne worked with Andrea at the South Elementary School in Stoughton and took Andrea and Jay's engagement photos. When Chris & Laura decided to get married (on short notice) and to have a small intimate wedding, Laura immediately thought of Suzanne. She captured Andrea & Jay's personality so well in their photos and, since they had so much fun at Andrea's bachelorette party, Laura knew she would fit right in with their small group. Laura also loved seeing all the photos Suzanne was posting on Facebook through the pandemic, mostly senior portraits, bringing joy in an otherwise trying time.

Question

What about the cake?

Answer

Sugar Mama's Sweets and Treats - http://www.sugarmamassweetsandtreats.com/index.html Laura originally thought she'd be a real DIY bride and make her own, but Chris's mom, Jean, called and said she wanted to gift them their wedding cake. She recommended a few places and after talking to Erin at Sugar Mama's Laura knew that was the way to go. Due to the pandemic they weren't doing traditional tastings, Erin sent Chris & Laura home with a giant box of cupcakes of all different flavors. There wasn't a bad one in the bunch! They ended up choosing the Sangria cake. It was a delicious yellow cake with orange zest and cinnamon, filled with brandy and sweet red wine frosting, covered in buttercream. Erin was a joy to work with. She was so sweet and made getting a last minute wedding cake a stress-free task.

Question

Who officiated the wedding?

Answer

Justice of the Peace Laura Schwall. Laura is the Town Clerk of Rehoboth, a Justice of the peace, and a member of the Rehoboth Anawan Lions Club with Debbi. When Chris & Laura told her parents that they wanted to get married in August, Debbi eagerly said she could reach out to Laura Schwall to see if she was comfortable and available to officiate their marriage and they are so grateful that she did. Laura was fantastic. They loved that she offered some advice to Chris & Laura during the ceremony that was given by her minister when she and her husband got married 36 years ago.

Question

And that gorgeous bridal bouquet and boutonniere?

Answer

Uncle Wayne! What a treat! Jay's Uncle Wayne is a professional florist. Andrea and Jay were kind enough to commission his elite services to craft that bright, beautiful bouquet. Laura was so touched and thrilled.

Question

How about the flowers on the tables and the arbor?

Answer

DIY with Trader Joe's flowers! Kristina & Laura constantly buy flowers from Trader Joes. They always have such a great selection and they stay fresh looking for days. Kristina & Laura first tested their floral arranging capabilities for Andrea's bridal shower two years ago so they felt confident that they could do it for the wedding. Thursday before the wedding Kristina & Laura bought out half of Trader Joe's fresh flowers. They excitedly filled a whole shopping cart with them. They went to their parent's house to set up and prep. As Henry and Chris made twice-baked potatoes in the kitchen, Debbi, Kristina, and Laura arranged all the flowers. Then the morning of the wedding Laura assembled the flowers for the arbor while Kristina and Debbi set and decorated the tables.

Question

Who catered the food?

Answer

We did! Laura ordered the filets and lobster from Fresh Catch in North Attleboro. -https://www.freshcatchnorth.com/ Debbi & Henry prepped the lobsters, Jay grilled the filets, and Laura made the roasted garlic chimichurri butter. The salad and squash and zucchini were sourced from our gardens and put together by Debbi & Kristina. Henry baked the rolls. Kristina made the cheese boards. Chris & Laura are so very thankful for all of their help and hard work! It was all delicious.

Question

Where did you rent the tent from?

Answer

The Rehoboth Lions Club - https://e-clubhouse.org/sites/rehoboth_ma/index.php Henry is a member of the Lions. They have a few different tents and luckily they had one available to rent for the day of the wedding.

Question

Oh, you're wondering about the wood lanterns and signs? Or the arbor and the swing? or the flower boxes down the aisle?

Answer

Handcrafted by Henry! And Kristina painted the signs! They're so crafty. Henry & Debbi surprised Chris & Laura with the arbor as a wedding present. To be able to use it for years to come, Henry also crafted a swing to fit the arbor. Chris & Laura loved the surprise details of the Mr & Mrs signs for their chairs and the wedding arrows. They came out great. Under Kristina's direction, Henry also made flower boxes for her to fill to create an aisle for the couple to walk down.
