What’s life without a little risk? Laura took a chance, moved to Pittsburgh and took a new job. Chris and Laura both took a chance to explore Tinder while at work a few miles apart in Monroeville. And Chris certainly took a chance actually answering Laura’s impromptu phone call before their scheduled blind date. Though their first encounter on August 17th came by technology-fueled chance, what transpired can only be described as fate. That first date led to a Bruno Mars concert. The concert begat a restaurant crawl. Before long, there were dueling cook offs and trips to Columbus. In the most beautiful blink of an eye, Chris and Laura found themselves together in Chicago—celebrating a spectacular year together. Then life happened: jobs and apartments changed, and their lives continued to grow ever more together in shared experiences and love. Chris and Laura never expected to a global pandemic to come in between their plans for their happily every after. And in true love form, they did not! As the wedding date was approaching in 2020 there were many conversations on how to best celebrate with their family and friends. Many sleepless nights were had but the they came upon the agreement of postponing the celebration. That did not stop our two love birds from starting their happily every after. In true COVID fashion Chris and Laura had a beautiful and intimate wedding with some of their closest family and friends. We are happily married and cannot wait to celebrate our one year anniversary with all of our family and friends!!
