The ceremony and cocktail hour are outdoors unless the weather demands otherwise. The reception is indoors, but there is a patio with bonfires outside.
Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all at Little Piney Lodge. Golf carts can take anyone with mobility limitations around the property, as the spots are a short walk away from each other.
We ask that only those whose children are listed on the invite bring them, but if they are on the invite and you'd like to have a night out without the kiddos, that is fine too! Just let us know on the RSVP whether or not they are coming. That said, please be aware that the reception will include alcohol, and explicit music. We also want the ceremony to remain an intimate and heartfelt moment. If you choose to bring your children, we kindly ask that they are able to remain calm and respectful in this environment. If they begin to make noise, or you anticipate that they might, please have an adult bring them to the Lodge right behind the ceremony grounds for the rest of the ceremony.
We have all +1's listed on the invites, so please only bring them if it was offered on your invite and RSVP appropriately!
Dress nice, please! It's not the Oscars so no need to go too flashy, but no jeans either. Something you can dance in, if you plan on it. We don't know what the weather will be like (it's Missouri after all) so we recommend bringing at least a jacket in case it gets cold. And of course, no white dresses ;)
There is parking at the venue just a short drive from Hermann, if you're staying there. There are parking attendants to direct you, and staff with golf carts for anyone with mobility limitations. Please please please don't drink and drive. If after the reception you don't feel it's safe for you to drive, please let someone at the venue know and they can help you coordinate a ride.
You can arrive any time after 1 PM on Saturday! Enjoy the beauty of the venue! There's a lake and hiking trails. Just please keep in mind that we will be getting ready for the big day and might not have much time to socialize before the ceremony.
There are designated smoking areas at the venue that we ask you to respect.
Yes, there is an open bar! Please drink responsibly and be respectful to our bartender.
If you've browsed the website, you'll see we have a honeymoon fund set up. We'd prefer donations to the fund in place of gifts; we've been together for a while and have what we need. We are not registered anywhere. If you want to give us something heartfelt, that is fine! But please keep in mind we have to fly back to LA and probably can't find much in our suitcases.
Yes, but NOT during the ceremony. We have a wedding photographer and they'll be taking much better pictures than you (no offense). Take as many as you want during the reception as long as you're not interfering with special dances or the staff at the venue.
After the ceremony, we will Mr. and Mrs. Piedra :)
