Brad and Laura met on a blind triple date. The night started in Boston's North End at an improv comedy club where Brad immediately captured Laura's attention with his witty one liners that were "out of this world". The night continued onto dinner and dancing at Hennessy's where Laura impressed Brad with her killer dance moves and her contagious upbeat energy. They ended the night returning to the improv comedy club for the midnight show.

Brad planned a romantic weekend away glamping in Acadia National Park. He told Laura they were going to a fancy dinner that had a "business casual dress code" and were going to watch the sunset at Eagle Lake beforehand. Brad got down on one knee and popped the question as a photographer popped out of the bushes! Laura was so excited she threw her phone on the ground hitting a rock and cracking her front camera (unfortunate timing for the FaceTime calls they went to make afterward).
