Billy and Laura have known each other since their freshman year of high school. They weren't close until becoming frequent partners for projects in their junior year physics class. Up until that point, they both thought the other was out of their league. The couple's "first date" was a fireworks night Betty Fairfax was holding for the 2020 graduating class. Billy asked Laura to go with him, and said it would be just the two of them. Laura assumed it was a date, and Billy thought she was still with her previous boyfriend- which made things awkward for Billy when Laura tried making moves toward him. After clearing the air, the two began to hang out more and more, and shared their first kiss after a midnight run to get Raising Cane's. A week after that they started dating and have been dating since June 24th, 2020. They have been discussing marriage since about a year into their relationship and are so excited to finally be moving forward with that step in their relationship this year, and are equally excited to share their wedding day with so many friends and family they love.
