FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by April 1st to give an accurate guest count to all of our vendors. This gives us and our vendors ample time to prepare for the event.

Question

Are you registered?

Answer

Instead of creating a registry, we have opted to create a list of charities for our guests to make donations to in our honor. If you are willing and able, please visit our registry page to make your donations!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm and we ask that guests arrive 30 minutes prior, which will allow time to find parking and make your way to your seats in time for the ceremony start.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For our event, we want all our guests to be comfortable! The dress code is dressy casual/semi-formal, which includes anything from a sundress to a cocktail dress for women and a dress shirt with dress pants to a suit and tie for men.

Question

Will there be pre-arranged accommodations for out-of-town guests?

Answer

We have arranged accommodations for a small number of out-of-town guests. If you are in need of these accommodations, please reach out to the bride and groom. For our local friends desiring to stay near the reception venue, please be aware that we were unable to secure a room block. This is due to the NFL draft taking in place in Green Bay, driving 3-night minimums and extremely inflated rates. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! For more parking details regarding both the ceremony and reception, navigate to the travel page of our website.

Question

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Starting with the cocktail hour, the bride and groom will be offering a partially hosted bar. There will be an open bar for all guests until a certain dollar amount is reached, at which point it will turn to a cash bar and guests will be able to continue to purchase drinks at the bar if they would like.

Question

I noticed there is a gap between the end of the ceremony and the start of the reception. What should I do during this time?

Answer

Guests are welcome to do whatever they see fit during the time between the ceremony and reception. Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm. There are many bars in downtown Appleton and Neenah where guests can pass the time. Weather permitting there a also a number of parks. You can check out the Appleton website here: https://appletondowntown.org/downtown-directory/ We recommend checking out the Lion's Tail Brewing Co., which is conveniently located on the first floor of our reception venue building!

Question

Are children included in the celebration?

Answer

As much as we love the babies and little ones, please take the opportunity to have a night off and enjoy an evening of adult celebration.

Question

Unable to attend but would like to share in the event?

Answer

For our friends and family living at a distance or simply unable to join, we will be live-streaming the wedding ceremony. Check back closer to the ceremony for details on how to view on St. Mary Parish YouTube channel.
