We met at Tesla HQ in Palo Alto back in early 2016 while Beau worked there and I had just begun working for their catering company. We quickly grew close over our love for music, television and movies, basketball and nature. Everyone saw how much Beau and I got along and looked out for each other (Beau was always on me about my water consumption lol) so a co-worker told Beau he needed to ask for my number. If you know Beau, you know he is VERY shy. But after casual conversation and an awkward pause, he got the words out and the rest is history. From that moment on, we talked non-stop. Our message threads were full of minimized messages from how long they were, we were admittedly heavy handed with the emojis, and I can recall my family being in awe of the hours we spent exchanging texts all while seeing each other every day. Six years later, we still write each other long messages and smile at each other like we just started dating. The first few years were full of incredibly tough losses and challenges, but we got through it together. We can't wait to see what the future holds!
