Laura had recently moved to Birmingham and was planning to spend New Year's eve being lazy at home. Scott was planning his annual celebration at his house. His friend Heather was an acquaintance of Laura and ran into her that day. She convinced Laura to change her plans and come to the party. After a few months of trivia, group dinners, hiking, and a few "accidental" lunch dates, Laura and Scott decided they were pretty perfect for each other.... and here we are!
