Patrick and Laura first met when the best local cigar shop had its annual Superb Owl (haha) party. Laura had her seating area set up with her beer, Patriots gear, cigar, and personal ashtray. Patrick was seated next to her and boldly kept using Laura's ashtray.

After a year of friendship, bonding over fine cigars, Stout beers, and Monday night football, Laura decided to send out some signals. Patrick responded by taking Laura out on their first date to Happy Valley Brewing on November 30th, 2015

It was a busy Christmas Day. They spent the morning with family then went home to spend Christmas together with Pierce. Then they finished the day hanging out with more family. All the while a beautiful diamond ring in a box was burning a hole in Patricks pocket. After a long day Patrick decided to stop by the town Christmas tree in Bellefonte on our way home. In the middle of the cold street close to midnight, Patrick got down on one knee and in only a few words he asked... and Laura said yes!
