9:30 am - 10:00 am
Cocktail Attire
For those wearing western style attire: cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, dress shirts and slacks are acceptable. A dress jacket is advisable due to the ceremony being outdoors during winter. Please, no all white outfits. For the family of the groom: we encourage you to wear traditional Filipino attire. White/Ivory color for Filipino traditional clothing is acceptable. For those choosing to wear barong, the groom requests you wear a 3/4 button down if possible. As guests, you do not need to dress in the wedding color scheme. During this time, we ask the guests to silence their phones and put them away. There will be professional photographers and videographers and their work will be shared after the wedding.
10:00 am - 11:00 am
This will be a time to stretch your legs, mingle, and take photos before the reception. There will be some light bites but be sure to save your appetite for the buffet later!
11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Be sure to bring your appetites and dancing shoes! You are invited to celebrate with us as we take our first steps together as a married couple. The reception will include the Sayaw ng Pera. This dance (also known as a "money dance") is a Filipino tradition that gives guests the opportunity to offer their wishes and contribute to the newlyweds' future. Guests who wish to participate are welcome to.
