Things To Do

Here are a few of our favorite places in Pittsburgh!

Strip District

2100 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15222

An immersive (black and gold) experience. Our favorite businesses are Pennsylvania Macaroni Co., Wholey’s Market, Allegheny Coffee, Roxanne’s Dried Flowers, and, of course, Yinzers in the Burgh.

Duquesne Incline

1197 West Carson Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15219

For the best views of our city!

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1 Schenley Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Pittsburgh’s botanical garden with famous Chihuly glass sculptures.

Cathedral of Learning

4200 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15260

University of Pittsburgh’s academic tower in the center of Pitt’s campus. Building and grounds are open to the public. However, the nationality rooms now require a guided tour but some rooms remain open to the public. Wave to Laura on the 8th floor!

Everyday Noodles

5875 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217

Pittsburgh’s best dim sum. We highly recommend the pork soup dumplings and the pork and vegetable pot stickers.

Pigeon Bagels

5613 Hobart Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15217

Situated on a residential street in Squirrel Hill, this small stand serves our favorite bagels in the city. Specifically, the white fish sandwich! Be prepared to wait in line if you arrive after 10 AM.

Point Brugge Cafe

401 Hastings Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Our first date spot! Neighborhood restaurant great for brunch or dinner. The restaurant is a 5 minute walk from Mellon Park, the wedding location.

Mediterra Cafe Lawrenceville

5202 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201

Delicious bakery, café, and market with artisan bread and specialty coffee brews. A perfect spot for breakfast or lunch!
