Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Laura Thomas and Logan Martin
Meet our friends & family walking the aisle with us.

Megan Walker Steffens

Matron of Honor

Megan and I met my freshmen year of college and have been friends ever since - 14 years. She married CJ who she met in college 5 years ago and they had their first child Cooper last year. Megan and I met in college because I was dating a friend from high school and college who she’d hang out with. A group from her high school graduating class attended UCF and decided to create a club where they would meet up every Monday and cook dinner together. When I started dating her friend Elijah, I joined the club. We became fast friends and 7 months later after we broke up, Megan & I decided we would stay friends regardless. Funny story, she asked him to hold off on the breakup so I would come to her birthday, gotta love it! A few years later we’d end up becoming roommates and we had a blast. Art, forts, parties, our home was always a safe space and the life of the party. Megan is a truly sweet, artistic, kind, gentle, nurturing person with a bit of a devious, quiet side. Play her in a game of Cards Against Humanity and find out. She’s an amazing artist and a truly great friend.

Dan Wilkerson

Best Man

I met Dan my freshmen year of college through our mutual friend, Mark Doremus. He is cool, smart, and a surprisingly athletic powerhouse despite being a father of 2 kids. We are mutually good at soccer, love the outdoors, like to bump Noah Kahan & Creedence Clearwater Revival. My favorite memory is Dan saving our boat from grounding and capsizing in the same instant when we were boating in Boston. He owns his own business and resides in Florida with his wife Kendall and their 2 children.

Nicole Zamora

Matron of Honor

Nicole Zamora is my OG college roomy and has all the dirt. Nicole met me at a strange time in my life. It was my first year in college and we roomed together with 2 other girls. She taught me what beer pong was and proceeded to try and connect me with a persistent old friend even setting out candles and playing music when he’d come over! She saw me at my wildest and lowest moments and loved me through it all. Nicole and I are such different people. I love movies and she hadn’t seen any of them, I’d prefer to go out dancing and she’d want to turn down the AC, throw on a hoodie and her uggs and veg out to Jersey Shore. To this day, we have different interests, but what we do have in common is a love for each other. She’s always down for a girls trip, a dinner night out or a park day. Fun fact, I took Nicole to her first massage which if you know me, I love. Well, she did not. But I’m happy to say that she has converted to the spa girly ways. Nicole has a passion for travel, National Parks and winter time. She was originally a New Yorker, but moved to Florida her sophomore year of high school. She competed in gymnastics. (“It’s not called “gym-nice-tics”!) Nicole married Ravin in December 2023.

Mac Walden

Groomsman

Mac and I were placed in the same suite our freshman year of college. Mac is brave, funny, and capable. We quickly became friends through our love of sports, video games, and late night shenanigans. Even though Mac is a country bumpkin with a girl’s name, he always dominates in basketball, Call of Duty, and beer pong. My favorite memory is playing slam ball on 7-foot basketball hoops at 2am. Mac lives in Kentucky with his wife Sydney and their 2 children.

Alaine Ingram

Bridesmaid

My little sister has been a part of my life since she was 6 and I was 11. We had a bumpy start back then, but with every year we’ve only grown closer. As we’ve gotten older, I’ve watched her grow into someone I love, admire, and respect so deeply. I’m so proud of the woman she’s becoming — her strength, her heart, her humor, her steady presence. She’s one of the greatest gifts God placed in my life, and I’m grateful for every moment that shaped us into the sisters we are today. Having her by my side as I step into this next chapter means more to me than she knows. I love you, little sis.

Bregon Kelly

Groomsman

I met Bregon my sophomore year of college at PBA. He is laid back, hilarious, and will let you know how much your team sucks compared to the Baltimore Ravens. We bonded over the brutal job market and the struggle of poor college kids, COD Zombies, and drinking until we’re sick at parties. My favorite memory is when he surprised me at Orange Lake trip number 3,274. It was awesome. Bregon resides in Baltimore with his girlfriend Sarah.

Nicole Branham

Bridesmaid

Nicole is my sister-in-law and the incredible woman who married my little brother, Austin. She is full of life, joy, and kindness, with a contagious enthusiasm that instantly lifts everyone around her. Nicole is deeply supportive and endlessly encouraging, and it’s truly a gift to have her in our family. She brings so much warmth and youthfulness into every room she enters, and I’m so excited to continue building memories with her for many years to come.

Mark Doremus

Groomsman

I met Mark my freshmen year of college through mutual classes and playing soccer. Mark is hardworking, generous, and somehow the luckiest bastard you’ll ever meet. He’s somehow cheated death and manages to cheat his way into beer pong and mini golf wins during our reunions. We share a love of sports, movies, and all things Lord of the Rings. My favorite memory is us ditching everyone to go skate a parking garage and me getting too scared to skate down. Mark resides in Boston and is single and available ladies.

Sara Lee

Bridesmaid

Sara & I have been friends since the 6th grade - roughly 20 years! She embodies joy and kindness. Nothing ever seems to phase Sara and I’ve never seen her judge someone. She’s sweet, kind and funny and we used to get in all kinds of mischief in high school. Even when she went to Liberty University, she continued our friendship over text, calls and visits to this day. Sara married Hagen who she met in college. He is now an American Airlines pilot. Together they have two daughters.

Taylor Stobie

Groomsman

Taylor has been my friend since sophomore year of college at PBA. He is funny, rad, and refuses to let me win at SmashBros. Or tennis. Or beer pong. We bonded through athletics, hardcore music, and video games. My favorite memory is going to see Chiodos (their first year back with Craig) in Vero Beach at a Polish VFW with only 50 people. He is currently engaged to his longtime partner Jen and they reside in Utah.

Caitlin Sexton

Bridesmaid

I had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin at our church singles small group in Fall 2024. Caitlin and I instantly hit it off. She’s fun, kind, vibrant and eager to please the Lord. She carries so much understanding and spiritual wisdom. Whether it’s having a good time at the beach or out for the night or a girlies night in and spiritual conversation, Caitlin is always fully present and game. She has been a big supporter of Logan and I from the beginning and we’re grateful to have her as a friend in our journey.

Pete Sanchez

Groomsman

Pete and I became friends through our grueling and back-breaking work at ServPro. Pete is kind, calm, and always a vibe. Despite raising 3 children and having no hair, Pete has managed an immaculate beard and continues to be a great friend to me and Laura. Pete and I share a mutual love of rap music and video games. My favorite memory is traveling to Tampa together to blow a small fortune on a 1-night adventure, which didn’t turn out to be much of an adventure at all. Pete married his love Ciara in 2025 and they reside in Orlando with their 3 children.

Whitney Vesterfelt

Honored Best Friend

Whitney passed away on 8/7/2019 at the age of 27. We had been friends since 4th grade—17 years. I always called her my guardian angel. She moved to NC our freshman year, but I visited her at least twice a year. We spent 3 summers at Beach Freak, our Christian teen camp. She was an incredible singer, pianist, and songwriter. She released one album and was working on a second when she passed. She was a worship leader at her father’s church. Whitney loved Napoleon Dynamite and was always years ahead in music and fashion—a peaceful soul with a silly side. Some of my favorite memories are making homemade salsa or ranch, cooking gluten-free meals, filming our goofy videos, watching movies in a blanket tent, having deep talks on the couch, and our late-night wiggles and dances. Whitney was an old soul. She graduated high school at 17 while dual-enrolled in college and finished her degree soon after. At 18 she met Alan, the love of her life, and at 19 she married him. I had the honor of being her Maid of Honor. Their wedding was unique, beautiful, and perfectly her—strawberry milk toast included. At 23 she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She fought hard, went into remission, but after 8 years the cancer returned. In her final breaths she praised God—an incredible testament to her faith. She inspires me every time I think of her. Whitney will always be my Maid of Honor. I miss you, silly girl. Love you, Whit.

Ryan Eriksen

Groomsman

I met Ryan in 2025 through Purpose Driven Singles, a small group at Journey Church where we attend. Ryan is kind, smart, and creative. Despite being one of my newest friends, Ryan and I have developed a lasting friendship as we bonded over all things nerdy, creative outlets, and figuring out how to navigate this crazy world. My favorite memory is Ryan and me crushing Alien: Earth in a binge-watch of it. Ryan currently resides in Florida, but is single and starting a new adventure for himself real soon!

Lindsay Lebeau

Honored Friend

Lindsay passed away June 15, 2020 at the age of 29. We were friends for eight years and roommates twice over that time. It was a joy to live together. She was absolutely full of life and laughter. She studied education and literature and would have been a fantastic teacher. She was great with her special needs cousin. She dreamed of being a comedian and actress like Kristen Wig. She loved loved loved the Beatles. She was extremely talented as an artist, constantly taking pieces of flowers and fabric and making cool new pieces whether outfits or decor. She loved to listen to records. She battled depression throughout her adult life, but brought joy to so many. We used to go on drives together, roll the windows down and just listen to music, little conversation, just being together, feeling the feels. She knew how to relate to people and make them feel truly seen better than anyone I know. Miss you always. Love you Z!

Luke Martin

Officiant

I’ve known Luke since November 9,1994…because he is my younger brother! Luke is extremely smart, athletic, and a leader. Despite now having a dad bod, Luke continues to beat me in sports and hike all over the world. My favorite memory (there are a lot), is our solo trip to hike a 14er in Colorado. Luke resides in Springfield as a pastor with his wife Mara and their 2 children, Henri and Soren.

Julie Roop & Jonathan Hausheer

Parents of the Bride

Laura and Julie share a bond shaped by deep love, strong personalities, and years of growing together. Julie has always been a woman of incredible strength, intelligence, and heart. She is curious, clever, funny, and deeply resilient, with a tenacity that inspires everyone who knows her. Laura has come to appreciate just how much of her mother’s passion, determination, and wisdom were rooted in love and a desire to protect and guide. Today, Laura admires her mother greatly, not only for who she is, but for the example she has set through perseverance, grace, and unwavering care. At the center of their relationship is a genuine, enduring love that continues to grow and deepen with time. Jonathan, whom Laura has had the joy of getting to know in recent years, has been a wonderful addition to the family. He brings warmth, humor, and a playful spirit wherever he goes. Adventurous and endlessly curious, Jonathan has a love for learning and experiencing life, whether that’s through travel, cooking, dance, or simply trying something new. His openness, enthusiasm, and kind-hearted nature bring a beautiful sense of joy and balance to the family, and his presence is deeply cherished.

Vickie & Kevin Martin

Parents of the Groom

Kevin and Vickie are the heartbeat of Logan’s family—two people whose faith, strength, and joy have shaped him into the man he is today. Vickie is an incredible dancer and a powerhouse in both faith and leadership. As a national director in business and a devoted follower of Christ, she carries herself with grace, wisdom, and the kind of warmth that makes everyone feel seen. To Logan, she has always been an angel in his life. Kevin is equal parts hilarious and tough—a man with a sharp sense of humor, a strong work ethic, and a generous spirit. He taught Logan what it means to be a man, to work hard, to lead with character, and to provide with love. Both Kevin and Vickie are steadfast believers, and their faith has been the foundation of their home and their family. Logan loves them deeply and is incredibly grateful for the parents God blessed him with.

April & Eric Thomas

Parents of the Bride

Laura’s dad, Eric, and stepmom, April, have been a steady, shaping force in her life—marked by resilience, intentionality, and deep love. Their story is one of two families becoming one, navigating the challenges of blending lives, and choosing joy and commitment through every season. Laura is grateful for the lessons they’ve taught her. Watching their relationship grow has given her a beautiful picture of marriage lived out the way God intended—full of growth, forgiveness, and genuine partnership. Even in rocky moments, their home became a place of joy, grace, and enduring love. April is a marketing consultant, avid reader, gifted writer, and deeply creative soul. She published a devotional for single mothers (Laughs & Jesus) and is writing another on raising adult children. She pours her heart into creating a home filled with warmth, trust, and safety—a space where real growth happens. Her joy, wisdom, and gentle parenting have shaped Laura in immeasurable ways. Eric served as Chief Technology Officer at the State Attorney’s Office for over 35 years. Brilliant and hardworking, he modeled commitment, reliability, and faith-driven perseverance. Though he can appear stern, those who know him see the humor and warmth beneath the surface. His guidance and steady presence are gifts Laura treasures. Together, Eric and April have created a home—and a marriage—that reflects God’s grace and the beauty of choosing love daily. Laura is honored to call them her parents.
