I met Aidan and Laura early in our time as illustration majors at MassArt, where we bonded over comics, games, and a shared love for fantasy and sci-fi. We spent many late nights in the studio finishing up homework together and I came to rely on them both for advice and support- and sometimes to pose for weird reference pictures. After graduating we all moved in together and became even closer- cooking together, collaborating on illustration projects, playing countless hours of Dungeons and Dragons, and even celebrating Christmas and birthdays during the pandemic when we couldn’t travel. I consider Aidan and Laura like family now, and am so overjoyed to see them get married and start this new part of their lives together!

Graduating with both of these hooligans from illustration, I had the privilege of witnessing the chaotic highs and lows of young adulthood. Since completing the Art School Experience TM we have shared in multiple DND campaigns and NYC Comic Con trips. I am beyond thrilled to be here for yet another chapter in this wild, wild adventure we call love.

I’m Jayme, a good friend of Laura and Aidan. I actually met Aidan back in 2013 during a pre-college program at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. We didn’t talk much, but had mutual friends and had the amazing shared experience of brushing our teeth at the same time. And then a year later, we somehow ended up in the dorm hall, on the same floor, at MassArt. And on the same floor as Laura. And luckily that was not the end of our shared journey. Not only did we all remain friends after freshman year, I also had the joy of living with Laura in not one but two apartments. I have had the privilege of being able to watch these two fall in love and grow into their true and authentic selves over the years. I mean, I guess it’s hard not to see it when you share a room with one of them. I jest, I jest. I am so honored and humbled they asked me to be a part of their special day as they take this step in making a public and proud declaration of love for one another. And if you hate the wedding venue, you can blame me. I showed it to them.

Aidan and Laura were two of the first people I met starting college at MassArt. Aidan was my suitemate along with Griffin, and Laura was in the suite right next to ours. Through thick and thin, the Smith Hall 4th floor stuck together, helping each other out however we could. Aidan also starred in my first 16mm film, as an artist (the method acting was superb). In our sophomore year Aidan and Griffin’s suite was right down the hall from mine and so we all hung out at their place quite a bit. I think it was in that suite in Artist Rez that I really started to see how close Aidan and Laura were and it was wonderful to see the continuation of their relationship. And while graduation certainly sees the end of quite a few friendships, both Aidan and Laura were the glue that kept this rowdy ragtag bunch of friends together, through hosting Halloween parties, movie nights, and leading a couple of dungeons and dragons campaigns! They have both been absolutely amazing friends the entire time I’ve known them, and I am overjoyed to see the happy couple get married!

As I watched Aidan grow from childhood, through school years and on to adulthood I wondered what sort of life partner he might find, if he was lucky enough to find such a soul. Then he met Laura and the two of them just seemed to work. Can't explain personal chemistry, it's either there or it ain't and I think it's obvious that it's there for both of them. I wish them all my love and good wishes on their life journey.
