We used to take walks here all the time during college, since it's across the street from Villanova. Formerly the Haas family estate, it is now a garden specializing in local/native plant life.
A beautiful private estate featuring a variety of garden styles, not far from Villanova!
This historical national park was the winter encampment of George Washington and the American Continental army. Valley Forge can be explored on foot or in the car and features 3600 acres of hiking and biking trails, as well as Revolutionary monuments.
Wander through this beautiful art museum and take a run (or walk) up the Rocky stairs. This was also the first place someone asked Annelise if she was dating Jonathan. The answer at the time was "No," but only for a few more weeks.
This educational art collection includes works from masters like Picasso, Matisse, and Cézanne. It also boasts the largest collection of Renoir in the world. The works are styled alongside elements like furniture, metalwork, and more to teach viewers to "read" art.
Suburban Square mall was a favorite haunt of ours in college. The outdoor space offers restaurants, shops, and a relaxing parkway to enjoy some fresh air. If you break your phone, this is the closest Apple store. (Annelise knows from experience)
One of the largest malls in the country, King of Prussia has almost every store you could want to visit, including a tasting room for Bluecoat Distilling (a favorite of Annelise's).
Kids (and adults alike) will love feeding the giraffes at Elmwood Park Zoo!
The Goat's Beard offers pub fare and local brews.
If you want to be transported to a French gastropub, this is the place. Try the Moules Frites!
A local diner chain, Nudy's has a breakfast (or lunch) option for everyone.
