Mother of the Groom
To my loving mother, no matter what the situation is, you still love me. With everything that I’ve done in life, you have always supported me and encouraged me to keep going. Growing up we may had not had much, but we had enough! Even when we went through tough times, you made it work. You instilled hard work in me and told me to work for what I wanted. I remember one of my coaches that always used to say “ Tough times don’t last long, tough people do! ” Every time I hear that, I think of you. You’re as tough as they come and I love you for that! Love your son 😘😘❤️❤️❤️
Groomsman
When I met you in 2006, our first encounter was me knocking on your apartment door, and eating up your snacks when we were in college. After we hung out one time, you instantly became one of the funniest persons that I know. I even introduced you to my mama as my “funny friend.” The rest has been history! Thank you for being in my wedding, and for allowing me to be your big bro.
Groomsman
Over the years we’ve had a lot of competitive moments, and I mean a lot. LOL! From our kids, to sports, we have both always thought that we were the best at everything. I can’t lie, the race that we had on Highway 33 going back to Langston took the cake!!.😂😂😂 If you ever heard me tell the story, you know it’s a classic. So for all those great moments that you have left tattooed in my brain, thank you! You will always be family.

I’ve seen us go from teammates to roommates, and now, to brothers. If I can’t find anybody else, I can always count on you to rock ‘n’ roll with me. One thing I can always say, is that whenever we get together. We know how to enjoy ourselves. Thank you for being apart of my life, and for always making sure, that there are no full moments.
Groomsman
What can I say, we’ve been rocking strong since the sixth grade. We’ve been through so much together, that people would never believe some of the stories that we have to tell. From the highest of the highs, to the lowest of the Lows. I could and can always count on you to be by my side. Whether we see each other every day, or once a month. When we get together our conversation can last for hours, and I really mean HOURS! To the person that I have no secrets with. To the person that knows all of my good, bad, or embarrassing moments. I just want you to know, that when I talk about you to other people. I call you “MY ACE” because I thought the word best friend is soft lol. But today, I want you to know that you are more than just a best friend. To me, you’re my brother.

If anyone wants to know where I learned to play football and basketball, it’s from this guy. He’s the first person that i watched play sports, and the reason why I fell in love with sports. I remember the days that we played basketball in the hallway of the apartments in Dimmitt, TX. I remember the times that you let me go to the gym with you to hoop. You’re definitely a big part of the reason why I am the person that I am today, and for accomplishing the things that i have. You’ve always been there for me, and I love you for that. Thank you Big Bro Love you.

Over the last few years our friendship has grew. We party together, travel together, and have learned the game of football together. As young coaches, we have found out that what we thought we knew, we really didn’t know. We have experienced things together that no person should ever have to go through. The saying says, “That what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger” and I think that’s exactly what it did to us. Thank you for being the friend that you are, and I’m honored to have you in my wedding.

Your friendship means a lot to me, but for some reason writing yours was the hardest. Don’t ask me why, because I don’t know. We’ve shared so many good times together because we both love to entertain. We both love to laugh and joke and make sure that everyone around us is having a good time. Just know that the venting sessions that we have, ensures me that everything is going to be alright. I still have that picture up in KJ’s room of me scoring a touchdown. It’s so funny because every time you see it, you tell me to take it down because it didn’t count, because you got called for holding. If there was a phrase to describe our friendship the first thing that comes to mind is “through thick and thin” because no matter what, you are family and I will always be there for you. Love you my guy

We both attended different Colleges before we attended Langston. Both looking for a new opportunity to play football, and we ended up gaining a new family. I remember riding in the Impala, taking late night “two” deep trips from Langston to Oklahoma City. I also remember trying to see who was going to get the MVP of the Tim Crisp classic on the football field. I gave you the ball the whole game, then you waited until the 4th quarter to tell me that it was the Classic. Last but not least, the personal conversations that we share hoping to learn from each other’s mistakes. You have always pushed me and motivated me to do better, and to want more. I pray that KJ and Grayson have the same kind of friendship that we have. I just want say thank you for being my big bro. Love!!
