Somehow we became Instagram friends. Possibly because of a suggested friend request. We just can’t figure it out. Then we became Snapchat friends because of a post. We’ve been Snapchat friends since 2016 but we didn’t interact until maybe June 2020. Both of us post sporadicly. Theory is the pandemic made us post and pay attention more at the right moments. Comments were made on snapchats then we agreed to met for a date. Renard drove from home in Savannah to Latondia in Charleston on 7/1/20 to meet for brunch at 11am. Because we vibed so well, we decided to keep the date going. Next stop was Tanger Outlets. Renard had to return something and Latondia loves to shop so why not. The day could not stop there. What our snaps mostly had in common was the Beach so the next stop had to be Folly Beach. Renard stays prepared for everything and already had beach clothes in the truck. So Latondia got to shop for a new swimsuit at the beach. Then we got a bottle of Crown Royal Apple to sip on and got appetizers. The sun decided to set on us so we soon had to part ways after having a super long date. It marked the beginning of a beautiful union and we worked endlessly to spend more time with each other. Any chance we could get we’d travel between Savannah and Charleston to date. However, the proposal on 5/6/22 ended all that traveling and within a month Savannah became home for both of us.
