We're getting married!

It all started on a dating app. They spoke non-stop for a week as they planned their first date. On Friday January 11, 2019, Michael drove to Heather's house in his jeep. Like the gentleman he is, he picked her up from her house. They locked eyes as soon as he stepped down from his jeep. In that moment, they knew one thing fo sure. They had found the one. For dinner, they decided to go to a Mexican restaurant up the road that Heather's parents recommended (turns out it was the wrong restaurant lol). They still enjoyed it, however, had a good laugh about it later on. After dinner, Heather decided to take Michael to a brewery up the road called Marker 48. There, they shared some beers and stories while under the stars. From that night on, we can happily say the rest is history.

The day started just like any other Saturday. We woke up, had our coffee, snuggled with our pup, and enjoyed being in the Christmas Spirit. I so badly wanted to get our Christmas tree but Michael had said it was too early. Little did I know what he had planned for that day. As the day went on, he said come on let's go to the store. I assumed we'd be going to the outlet just like most Saturdays. Instead, he was taking me for our Christmas Tree! Anybody who knows me, knows how excited I was! Christmas is my favorite holiday and now it shares another great memory. So, we went to Home Depot to pick out our tree and found the perfect one! Later that night, while decorating the tree, I put on my favorite Christmas movie Elf. Meanwhile, I grabbed an ornament out of the box and proceeded to hang it. As my back was turned to Michael I said, "How does this look babe?" I began to feel a presence behind me and turned around to see Michael was down on one knee holding a ring in his hand. I couldn't believe my eyes. Overwhelmed with emotions, he then proceeded to ask, "How about this one babe? How does this look?" I said, "Oh my gosh, this is not happening." He replied, "Yes, it is. Will you marry me Heather?" My eyes began to fill with tears and without any hesitation I exclaimed, "YES!!!"
