In 2020 at the height of the pandemic, we both decided to try out a little thing called Facebook Dating (yes it was and maybe still is a thing?). Many swipes later, the universe sent us to each other. With the world shut down and traditional pre-COVID dates off the table, Julius popped the unique question, perfectly on brand for the times: “Do you want to go for a social distance walk?”. I said YES, obviously... and from that moment on, everything escalated pretty quickly. We soon began merging our lives, growing together, and learning side by side, building a foundation that would become our forever. Let's just say, this is proof that love can find you, even 6ft away! As far as the proposal goes, Julius fooled me into thinking I was attending his staff's holiday party, formal attire and all. Plot twist: It wasn't a holiday party, but in fact my proposal/engagement party! He somehow managed to bring together all of our closest family and friends, from every chapter in our lives, all in one room. Tears flowed, hearts raced, time stood still, and when Julius popped the question, the answer was the easiest part. I said YES to forever!
