We get to take a ferry?!

Answer

Yes! Vashon Island is accessible via 2 ferries. One can be found at Pt. Defiance Park, right down the street from the Silvercloud Hotel in Tacoma. The other can be found off of Fauntleroy in West Seattle. There is a $6.75 fare for walk on adults and a $29.55 fare for driver and vehicle. Once you are on Vashon, there is no fare to get off the island. Please see the links on the Travel page for the ferry's schedule!

What is the best ferry to take to arrive on time?

Answer

All times are current as of June 13th. Leaving Point Defiance, Tacoma: Take the 3:40pm ferry; you will arrive on Vashon at 4:00pm. Leaving Fauntleroy, West Seattle: Take the 3:20pm ferry; you will arrive on Vashon at 3:30pm. Please double check ferry times day of the event.

How do I get from the ferry to the venue?

Answer

We have organized a legion of buses that will take you from the Tacoma ferry to our venue. At the end of the night, they will take you from the venue back to the Tacoma ferry. If you plan to use the West Seattle ferry, please organize your own transportation to and from the venue.

Is there parking at the venue?

There is parking at the venue! There will be signs there to guide you.

Are there any hotels on Vashon Island?

Answer

There are no large chain hotels on Vashon Island. However there is an extensive network of AirBnbs/VRBOs available on the Island.

What is the dress code?

Our wedding attire is cocktail attire. Please be mindful of footwear, you will be walking across grass.
