It all started with a phone call. After a seven-hour phone call, we realized our lives were connected in too many ways to count. From 550 miles away, our love grew through plane rides, miles on the road, phone calls, texts, and many hours on Zoom.
Jennifer was convinced she would know when he would propose, and yet it was a complete surprise. While Jennifer was getting ready with Stefanie, Stephen had to help Dalton with something, or so she thought. While she was getting ready, Stephen, Dalton, and her mother, Barbara, went to set up the area. Jennifer and Stefanie finished and then went to where she thought they were having dinner. She parked and saw their four boys standing waiting for her. She walked up to them, and they said, "Come on, Mom, we want to show you something really cool." As they started to walk, she saw the candles lighting the way across a bridge; at the end of the bridge was a poster of her and Stephen. Walking across the bridge, holding the hands of her four boys, she walked up to a tree. Stephen walked around it and traded in the garter he had caught at Stefanie and Dalton's wedding for the engagement ring. He got down on one knee and was at a loss for words, when he asked "what do you say" she said "finally!" We cannot wait to see you for our big day, See you in Durango, Colorado!
