This all begin in 2015 on an app called Tinder. To make a long story short you swipe right if you’re interested in being friends with someone and if not, you swipe left. If both individuals swipe right, you match and are then able to communicate. We chatted over the app for a few weeks and Initially Latera had no intention of meeting Shawn in person, however one of her guy friends convinced her to give him a chance, so she gave in. We went on our very first date on October 5, 2015 (yes I still remember). We spent an evening at Little Five Points getting food and drinks and that was the beginning of something beautiful. It was truly love at first sight and I think we can both agree to that. We instantly bonded— became the best of friends which then evolved into a relationship the following year and we have been inseparable since. Now here we are 4 years later, engaged, planning a wedding and raising a beautiful baby girl....

It was THEE PERFECT proposal, a private moment between just us two, that we will cherish forever. We went to dinner this night at Chama Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse and apparently Shawn had plans on proposing at dinner, but ended up changing his mind. Once we got home, Shawn said the absolute most sweetest, most sincere things to Latera about her and their relationship. Shawn does things like this regularly so Latera didn't think anything of it. Then he got one knee and asked for her to be his wife.. initially he didn't pull out a ring so Latera thought it was a joke... but once he did the tears started flowing and she said "YES!" Now here we are awaiting the day we become Mr & Mrs Terry.. and we can't wait to share this momentous occasion with all our family and friends. It is truly a #TerryTaleComeTrue !
