Funny enough, Loren doesn’t even like coffee, but something about that first date just felt... right. What was supposed to be a quick meeting turned into four unforgettable hours of talking, laughing, and discovering just how much we had in common. Who knew such a simple moment would be the beginning of our forever? From there, the miles between Colorado and Wyoming didn’t matter. For months, we took turns making the 4 ½-hour drive to visit each other, filled with excitement every time we reunited. Whether it was adventuring through the mountains of Colorado or exploring the open landscapes of Wyoming, we made every moment count. Those long drives became part of our story, a symbol of how far we were willing to go to be together. After one of those adventures, Loren asked a question that would change everything: “Will you move back to Wyoming with me?” It was a big step, but it felt so natural. Moving in together gave us the chance to build our life side by side, spending summers meeting each other’s families, making new friends, and creating memories we’ll treasure forever. Eventually, Loren’s job brought us to Buffalo, Wyoming, and that’s where our next chapter began. On a beautiful day in the Bighorn Mountains, Loren surprised me by getting down on one knee and asking me to marry him. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the mountains, I said yes to spending the rest of my life with my best friend. Now, here we are—planning our wedding, looking for our first house, and enjoying life with our two dogs.
