The way me and Latashia met was a miracle in the midst of a storm. Though many may disagree with the timing and method used, God still showed up We met on christian mingle, some things didnt quite add up on my end so she broke it off. Over time I’d contact her again and again like once every month just to say hi. Fast forward a year and a few months and we cross paths (on social media again. This time instagram). This time my divorce is final. So we began to talk again. We spoke eachothers love language even though we were distant. We fell in love with eachother As Christmas came around I decided I’ve seen enough to know she’s the one. I flew out to NJ 12/27/19 in hopes that I would seize the moment then. Things did NOT go as planned. I waited for the right moment and it came at 1/1/20 1:27am as we celebrated the new years and we said what we were thankful for and what 2019 brought us. I waited until I was the last one to speak. I turned to Daniel and spoke life to him. I turned to Latashia and I kneelt down on one knee and pulled out the ring “This journey has been too quick for some, and not enough substance for others but where will they be when God judges me on that great day? Where will they be when he judges you? Just like they have no say on judgement after life they have no say during life. Its between us and God. God judges the heart and its your heart I fell in love with. You are my present and my future so time holds no limit on my love for you. Our love is timeless. You are my forever. Will you marry me?” With tears racing down her cheeks she said with a sure but tear jerking voice “YES‼️”
