Once you arrive at the airport, cabs will be lined up outside of the arrivals level at the main terminal to take you to your hotel. After your stay in Athens you can easily get to Alonissos by ferry from the ports of Volos and Evia (Mantoudi or Kymi). The fastest way to get from Athens to Alonissos is to reach the port of Mantoudi in Evoia which is about a 2 hour bus ride. From there the ferry to Alonissos takes about 40 minutes to an hour depending on your ferry. You can also reach Alonissos by plane ride from Athens to the neighboring island Skiathos and a ferry from Skiathos to Alonissos.
