Lake Toxaway Country Club

Guests will be able to make tee-times at the Lake Toxaway Country Club. More details to come on timing and rates in 2025. Guests can also rent kayaks, paddleboards, and boats from the marina.

Blue Ridge Parkway

You are visiting western NC during peak leaf season in the Blue Ridge Mountains! We recommend planning a half day drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway to experience fall in the Blue Ridge. Make reservations at the Pisgah Inn for lunch if you're planning ahead! Or, consider doing some of the famous hikes in the area!

Upper Whitewater Falls

An overlook of the highest waterfall to the east of the Rockies that drops 800ft from top to bottom. 0.6 miles to reach the overlook.

Mills Creek Waterfall (Short hike)

Start your morning by grabbing a coffee checking off this 0.5mi hike. The hike gets you right underneath the Mills Creek waterfall which is around 70ft in height. Simply park on the side of the road and follow the unmarked trail to the right of the creek.
