Can you believe it?!?!? We met on Match.com! We were both hoping to find companionship and adventure. After our first conversation we knew that there was undeniable chemistry. Long distance was not enough to keep our first date from being epic. LaShonda jokes that we did more that weekend than her last 20 years of living in Atlanta. That weekend was the first of many more fun filled weekends to come, and now two years to the date we're getting married!

It was Christopher's 47th birthday and LaShonda was busy planning a party for him at her parent's house in Albany, GA for that evening. The party was in full effect - family and friends were eating, singing and having fun! After we sang happy birthday to Christopher, he blew out the candles, took off his festive glasses, and began to make a speech. He thanked LaShonda's family for coming to celebrate with him, and then he thanked LaShonda and her Mom for all of their planning. To LaShonda's surprise, Christopher then got down on one knee and expressed that he never wanted to celebrate another birthday without her. SHE WAS IN SHOCK! (YouTube proposal link below).
