Chris and LaShinna first met in high school. LaShinna was just displaced after Hurricane Katrina so she was a new face. Chris told all his friends that LaShinna was somebody he had to meet. At first, LaShinna was not interested at all but after Chris continued his pursuit she decided to exchange numbers with him. They made it official February 7, 2008 and then on LaShinna's 24th birthday, Chris arranged someone to sing "Happy Birthday" to LaShinna over a candle light dinner and after the solo Chris walked out and asked for her hand in marriage. Of course she said "YES"! They both welcomed their baby boy, Cam Gauthier a few months after on October 5, 2017. LaShinna and Chris will become one March 20, 2021.
