Watch Our Engagement
They didn’t bring bows or arrows, but AttIye and Phil somehow managed to play Cupid. What started out as a natural conversation between Attyle and I, just two girls talking about dating and her giving me tips, turned into a much more serious pursuit to her helping me find love and I had absolutely no idea. One day, she texted me a picture of a guy with a short description (that will be read at our wedding and reception 😉) and I told her I would think about it. A week passes by and she texts me to let me know that he was waiting for a response (and my phone number), so I finally gave her to go ahead. Well, he didn't seem to like that too much so after he got my number he made me wait for over a week before he texted me (just petty lol). We stayed on the phone for hours and hours talking about our lives and our future. After a few weeks of texting and facetime dates, he finally built up the courage to ask me on a date and that date lasted TWELVE HOURS! From 4pm to 4am we hung out and had the adventure of a lifetime. He asked me for a kiss and I told him "maybe on the second or third date" (spoiler alert: I kept my word). I immediately called my grandma the next day to jokingly tell her that I had finally found my husband. Well, we both laughed it off because, well, we know how I can be. She would always tell me my standards were "too high" but thank God I never listened because I always knew that God had someway, somehow, somewhere, created a man made perfectly for me that could meet them. After our first date, we became inseparable. About a month later on November 27th, 2022 he asked me to be his girlfriend. Two years later on May 3rd, 2025 he popped the question. Fast forward to now and we are planning our wedding and life together! ❤️ To Attlye and Phil, you're officially crowned Guest of Honor because without you there'd be no thrill. See you at the reception where we have planned a major reveal.
