It all started 4 months prior when Starkia saw me at a karaoke spot that I attend weekly. I was singing "Speechless" which is one of my popular songs and she was mesmerize by my voice and was intrigued to see who I was. Especially since I am only 4'11" and was on the other side of the room. She happened to be scrolling on POF dating site and saw a picture of me and decided to finally say something. Her message really peaked my interest for the mere fact that I had already stopped entertaining messages on the site. I normally would read the message and trash it or trash it and not even read it. So I responded to the message and we exchanged numbers.

This day was a entire shocker. It was the day after Starkia's birthday and we left from North Carolina that morning to come home because we decided to do a date night at home. She had texted me the week prior as if she was shy and finally got the nerve to ask me on a date. It was so sweet and special. During the conversation she asked what I would like to eat and I decided on Indian. I asked her if she ever had Indian and she said no but we could try it together. So we had confirm details on the Indian place we were going to order from. We picked up the food prior to going home. I told her that I would go to my cousin Netta house to get dress so we could shock each other with our outfits for our date. She dropped me off there and my cousin brought me home. I walked through the door and it was completely transformed. Mind you I threw her a birthday party the day before her birthday and we went out of town the morning of her birthday so all her party decorations were still up. There were candles lit everywhere. The music was playing and unbeknownst to me she had set up a Love Scavenger Hunt. It included my second favorite character Olaf, my mom (who is cremated) and a song selection that we performed together on our first date. Through all of this I still had no clue of what was happening, I actually stopped singing when my mom passed away 12-11-2019 and almost messed up the entire proposal because I really wasn't going to sing. Even with the song already started I jumped right in and we song "Nothing in the World" by KeKe Wyatt and Avant. The ending was out of this world when I opened my eyes in the mist of singing and saw her on one knee as I was singing "Baby I Do". I couldn't believe it and all along she had everyone we love watching it all live on FaceBook. Everyone closest to us knew and even kept the secret. It was so mind blowing. - Job well done Babe Muah
