Our story begins in the most unexpected way as many stories in our time do, through the vast, connecting web of social media. We had no idea that a simple interaction over instagram would change the course of our lives forever. LaShae and I had small but significant online interactions, neither one of us were looking for a relationship and had no intention of anything more than a simple friendship. But God had other plans. As we talked day after day, I admired Lashae's strength, beauty and determination, while she was captivated by my good looks lol, no but I did my best to show her my full sincerity and persistence. I knew I was falling for her, but she had her walls up, cautious from past experiences. However, I believed in what we had and was committed to showing up for her every day, gradually chipping away at those barriers. It wasn’t long before Lashae agreed to go on a date. The anticipation built as the day approached. On that very day, we both found ourselves praying for confirming signs from God that this was indeed His will for us. It was a moment filled with hope and excitement, and as if on cue, those confirmations came in clear, undeniable ways. It felt as though the Lord was aligning everything just for us. When we finally met in person, it was even more special. Our connection deepened in ways we never expected, and we realized this was the beginning of something truly special. Fast forward two incredible years, filled with laughter, adventures, and unwavering support for one another, and here we are—thrilled to announce that we are getting married!
