After feeling overwhelmed and stressed with planning a "traditional" wedding in MI, we decided our biggest "want" besides getting married was spending intentional time with family and friends. After a lot of discussion, we decided to get legally married 11/7/2024 with close family and friends and then wanted to plan a 1 year celebration with all our loved ones in Mexico!
Yes! Her name is Christine Roney and she is happy to assist you in booking your trip! Chill Vacations
This is totally up to you! Our ceremony & reception will be on 11/7/2025 which is on a Friday. Guests can choose how long or short they would like to stay!
YES!!!! Please make sure you have an up to date passport, and remember, your passport must be valid (not expired) for 6 months after your trip. Ex: if your trip is in November, your passport cannot expire in December etc.
If it was indicated on your invitation that you can have a guest, please feel free to bring a plus one to the beach party and vow renewal. Also, you may bring whoever you want to Mexico with you, as this can also be a vacation/getaway for you and your family/friends. If your invitation does not indicate "guest" we may not have room for extras at the renewal and beach bonfire.
The resort will be family friendly.
Cocktail dress attire
The resort is all inclusive. The beach bonfire will have appetizers and a private bar. We will also be having a private dinner which will include a dessert table and private bar.
We will miss you. We know that due to our choice to have a destination wedding, some of our favorite people won't be able to make it. We would love to celebrate with you before or after and plan to spend intentional time with our loved ones even if they cannot make it to the ceremony.
Our resort will be all inclusive! Although tips are technically included in your resort package, please bring cash to tip our amazing resort staff.
The only suggestion I have is to look at the resort website for any dress codes and restrictions. Some restaurants will require men to have dressier pants (linen pants etc) and do not allow jeans or shorts.
