Old Salem Museums and Gardens
*One of Nancy's favorite places: open 10a-2p Wednesday-Saturday. Tickets allow entrance to the Museum of Early Southern Decorative Arts in addition to access to shops preserved in the 1700s style.
Reynolda House Museum of American Art
Old estate of the Reynolds (tobacco) family. It's ticketed to enter the house and has rotating arts exhibits within as well. It's located next to Wake Forest University in Reynolda Village with public trails to walk to campus or around the gardens and property.
The Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art
Another Great Art Museum with rotating exhbits only - across from the Reynolda House and it's free admission!

Great Place for Indie Films and it's right downtown. Your ticket stub works as a coupon for Camino Bakery across the street!
