We first met in August 2018, when James moved from England to study at FSU. Working side by side with the women’s soccer team and sharing Sport Management classes brought us together, and by 2019 our relationship had begun. Not long after, Shelby moved to Kansas for a job with KU Soccer, and we spent the next four years navigating long-distance—living in different states, looking forward to every visit, and FaceTiming daily to stay close. Eventually, we were able to live together in Northern Virginia, where we’ve lived happily for the last three years. Now, after all the miles and memories, we’re so excited to finally tie the knot and hope to have you there with us.
