Why did we do our engagement photoshoot at the airport?

Dress Code

Answer

There is no dress code. Feel free to wear what you like as long as its appropriate and you are comfortable.

Pictures and video during the ceremony

Answer

The ceremony will be an unplugged ceremony which means there will be no personal pictures and/or videos during the ceremony. We ask that you please respect this stipulation put in place by us and the photographer. This is in order to allow the paid photographer to get the best quality photos. There will plenty of time for pictures and videos following the ceremony.

Wedding Gifts

You coming and supporting our union is gift enough. But if you feel so inclined, please feel free to check out our registry on this website or hand deliver a gift if you like. If you decide to do monetary gift, we utilize Zelle (tinakkaevans@gmail.com) and please note that it's a wedding gift.

Guest age limit

Answer

All are welcome to the ceremony. However, much as we love the kiddos, no one under the age of 13 is allowed at the reception unless they are in the wedding party

Please RSVP using the website by July 31st 2024. Please include your name as well as the name of your plus one. Please note that the reception is invite only, if you dont RSVP (and on time), we cant add you to the guest list.

Day After Festivities

There will be a Bar B Que on Sunday 09/15/24 and we would love for you all to be there if your plans permit. Time is to be decided. We hope that you all will be able to attend!

There will be a cash bar serving alcoholic beverages at approx. $10/drink. PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY.

What is the weather like in Virginia Beach during September

Weather in Virginia Beach around September can be nice for the most part. But please bring an umbrella to be on the safe side in case mother nature decides to switch up on us....

Parking at the Reception

Answer

Parking at 757 Oceanview Premier (reception venue) does require payment to park. We suggest carpooling if you can. We will not know how much the parking will be until closer to the date due to parking fees changing during peak season. Our wedding is during off-season so the parking fee will be lower. We will update this website when we have more information.

Why is there such a gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

The reason for the time gap is due to the time needed for the wedding party to take pictures offsite and then get to the reception venue. We know it is not the most convenient so please be patient with us as we want to see all of your beautiful faces at both places. Blame the Bride :-)
