Dress Code

This is a black-tie event, and formal attire is required. Guests should wear elegant, evening-appropriate clothing such as tuxedos, formal suits, or long gowns. Please avoid wearing white or blue, and do not attend in casual attire such as shorts, jeans, sneakers, or sandals. This event is meant to be formal, and we appreciate your cooperation in dressing accordingly.

Our wedding will take place at the East Town Ballroom in downtown Minneapolis, located within the hotel. You can find the complete address details on our travel page.

Arrival time

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Guests are asked to arrive by 3:30 PM, and no later than 3:50 PM. At that time, the doors will close and will not reopen until the ceremony has concluded. Thank you for your understanding and punctuality.

Parking

**Please see the Parking Instruction tab for more information!** Parking is available in the parking garage next to the hotel. Parking fees for the evening of the event have been covered; however, overnight parking is not included. Guests planning to stay overnight should make parking or transportation arrangements accordingly.

Unplugged ceremony

Answer

To allow our photographer and videographer to capture the ceremony fully, we kindly ask that all attendees refrain from taking photos or recording during the ceremony. Your cooperation helps us preserve these special moments, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Gifts

At this time, gifts are not required. However, for those who wish to congratulate the happy couple or contribute, you may use the gift registry tab on this website or place cards or gifts on the gift table at the ceremony. We are truly grateful for your love and support and appreciate each of you.

Hotel recommendations?

For guests in need of accommodations, there are many hotels located in and around downtown, as well as just outside the area. If you would like hotel recommendations, please feel free to reach out to Larry and me, and we will be happy to help find options that best suit your needs.

Drinks

An open bar will be available for a portion of the evening, during which guests are welcome to enjoy a variety of drinks provided by the venue. Outside of open bar hours, the bar will operate on a pay-as-you-go basis.
