We both met at similar points in our lives as far as relationships, and our approach in pursuing one another. It was spring semester at our university and I was visiting a mutual friend of ours when she walked in. As we all sat there and talked this would entail the beginning of a true love story. From the moment we met her personality has always been real and open. We continued to visit where we stumbled upon one another for the first time, our conversation was both intriguing and entertaining. This sparked an interest in one another right away. Later, there was a game night set up where we would both be attending. We played a game called categories, which she initiated. Throughout the whole game we both shared similar answers which I began to notice after a few rounds. Afterwards, being the real and open person she is she then revealed to me that this had caught her attention as well. The next day we kicked it off. Since then through thick and thin, ins and outs, ups and downs, we've had each others back. I couldn’t ask for more, I found a real one and I put a ring on it!

I walked into a mutual friends house and it was packed, per usual, for game night! We played categories and I was going in. Then I noticed there was a guy across the room who was just as good as I was because we were guessing a lot of the same answers. As the night went on I kept my eye on this particular guy, all night we were guessing the same answers. I’m thinking to myself, “who does he think he is because I’m the champ of categories!!” Anyways, as game night ended and everyone began to leave that guy who was stealing all my answers that night was still there on the couch, now sitting by himself. I went over to him, sat next to him and asked what his name was. He didn’t say anything at first. So I asked even louder this time and he said, “Larry!” We started to talk about random things then we left. The next day I saw him again. This time we exchanged numbers and now here we are, 7 years and a daughter later. Marrying my perfect categories partner!!
