Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

o The entire wedding day will take place at the same location- Kasteel de Haar, located about 8 miles west of Utrecht and approximately 20 miles from Amsterdam.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

o June in the Netherlands is usually mild—think 54°F-70°F—but Dutch weather can be unpredictable. Come prepared for sunshine, clouds, or a sprinkle of rain.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

o We’re planning for the ceremony to be outdoors, but we’ve arranged an indoor space just in case of rain.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

o We love your excitement to celebrate with us! Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Are children allowed?

o We adore your kiddos, but we’re keeping the celebration adults-only due to limited capacity. We hope it can be a fun night off for parents to relax and enjoy!

What time should I arrive?

o Day guests: 1PM for castle tour, and 1:45PM for ceremony o Evening guests: 9PM

Where can I stay?

Answer

o We have arranged for a hotel room block at the Leonardo hotel Vinkeveen from 12-14 June, for guests who’d like to stay nearby. When you make the reservation, please use our booking code 1206LAR.

Is there parking available?

Answer

o Yes, self-parking is available on site. As a wedding guest, parking will be free.

Dress code: Black Tie Optional

We’d love to see everyone dressed to celebrate in formal style! Think long dresses, chic cocktail attire, tuxedos, or dark suits with ties or bow ties. We kindly ask guests to AVOID: - Casual attire (e.g., jeans, sneakers, t-shirts) - Shorts, short dresses, or overly relaxed outfits - White, ivory, or cream dresses
