Larken and Marisa have know each other since they were kids. When they were little, they did not really like each other at all, but over time they became friends within the same circle. In December of their 8th grade year, Marisa said her first yes to Larken when he asked her to be his girlfriend.

After 4 years of high school, 4 years of college, almost 9 years together, and all the milestones those years brought, Larken popped the question at his house outside before taking Marisa to celebrate with their friends.
