During our Halloween party in 2018, my roommates Jackie, Kayla and I decided to invite the neighbors to join in the spooky fun. Low and behold, when we knocked on the door at the boys' apartment downstairs, Miller and his friend Devin answered. I (Larissa) was dressed head to toe in my legendary Taylor Swift costume, while Miller was dressed in his finest flannel and jeans combo. The boys joined in on the Halloween fun, met all of our friends and the two of us (Larissa + Miller) hit it off. After several months of dating we decided to make things 'official' and become girlfriend/boyfriend in December 2018.

After dating for over a year, we moved into an apartment together in our favorite neighborhood, Northeast Minneapolis. It was a year of exploring a neighborhood full of art, restaurants and breweries, a few of our favorite things. In 2021, we decided it was the best decision to buy a house, despite what several in the housing market would say ;) We moved to Fridley, MN and eventually added a furry friend to the family. Georgie was the best addition to the fam and you can bet he will be in attendance at the wedding.

Finally, in July of 2022, Miller planned a date night in the neighborhood where we met - including dinner at Bryant Lake Bowl, one of our favorite spots from our early days as a couple. After dinner, we decided to drive by the old apartment where Miller got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I obviously said yes, and now we are counting down the days until we are officially hubby and wifey!
