Larissa and Matt went on their first "date" in 7th grade to a concert in Plymouth chaperoned by her father, Chuck. Afterwards, besides being friendly in the hallways at school and dancing together during the slow songs at middle school dances, they went their separate ways. The couple became friends in high school when they life guarded and taught swim lessons together over the summer first at Joshua's Pond and then at Lake Wequaquet. A date or two ensued, but the spark didn't quite fully ignite. Fast forward a few years to life after college when Matt wished Larissa a happy birthday through Facebook Messenger. The couple didn't know they were living less than 2 miles from each other in Southie where Matt could gaze across the harbor at Larissa's apartment complex. An e-conversation turned into a date of firsts for Larissa when Matt picked her up on his motorcycle and brought her to an oyster restaurant. Luckily she liked the motorcycle ride, the oysters, and Matt of course! After a first kiss on the beach under 4th of July fireworks and a summer of Matt sneaking down to the cape whenever he had a spare morning for a run or night for dinner, the two decided to make it official. They are now living happily ever after in Weymouth with their two adorable cats, Weasley and Classy, looking forward to the big day!
