We met at Hawaii Pacific University while attending nursing school. Jason was in my nutrition class. We were not close at all and barely talked. A few years after nursing school, I was studying for my ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) certification and posted on instagram that I needed help reviewing. Jason messaged me and offered to help me review EKGs. We started spending more time together and slowly our friendship blossomed into something more.
We were acquaintances during nursing school where we shared a few classes, and it was in our basic sciences where I first met her. Through these classes, the interactions were quite ordinary and I would have never thought she would be my future life-partner. It all started on the presumptive platform of social media, instagram. Larielle had posted a medical question pertaining to her CPR certification on a social media post and without hesitancy I answered her question. From there she began to ask more questions, and in my noggin of mines, I was contemplating along the lines of "this girl needs help". Without hesitation, I offered her a study night at Starbucks where it all started. After a few study sessions, dinners, late boba runs, and many (that's an understatement) texts and phones calls, our journey soon began.
