FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal to formal with a Texas twist. For the ladies, we suggest a floor length dress or cocktail dress. And remember, the higher the hair the closer to Jesus. For the gentlemen, you can wear a suit but the bride wants to see some starched wranglers and your nicest Stetson. The men in the wedding party will be wearing jeans and boots. Please feel free to wear our wedding colors of which include black, tan, champagne or any neutral colors.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We don't have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many hotels and Airbnb's available very close to the venue. Please see our travel page for suggestions on where to stay. There are some very neat rental properties on or close to Lake Conroe we hope y'all can enjoy!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We would love to offer a plus one to all guests, but we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and meet our venue restrictions. Please only bring people indicated on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the best present of all and we are lucky to have all that we need. However, if you would like to get us a gift, we would appreciate contributions toward our honeymoon fund. You can find the link on the registry tab.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan on arriving before 4:45 PM to give yourself enough time to find a seat before the ceremony begins at 5:00 PM.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Heck yes, just please not during the ceremony. We want to have an "Unplugged" ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night after the ceremony! We even got a Photo Booth to have at the reception, please ask us to take pictures in it!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering select beer and wine on us. There will also be some signature mocktails and liquor available for purchase as well.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After we say "I do", we welcome you to join us for cocktail hour where we will serve beer, wine, mocktails, and cocktails with some light snacks. We will then take our seats for dinner at 6:45 PM.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony area is indoors, as well as the reception area. Additionally, there is a covered outdoor patio area so should the weather not cooperate, we will be good.

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on our website by August 1, 2026. Please don't hesitate to RSVP before this date.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Please check with the bride or groom before hand and let us know. Littles should be okay, and we love your babies, just please be accommodating if the ceremony is interrupted by any crying. Other than that, we don't want to see anyone not be able to make it due to child care obstacles.
