Do I need a rental car?

Answer

A rental car is totally optional! From Lax to the Marina it's about 15-20 minutes. Once you are there a lot of things are walkable OR you can uber if you wish to explore areas near by. Ubers/Lyfts/Taxis are readily available at all hours. Most hotels also have bikes and there are plenty of bike rental shops. If you are planning on doing longer trips up the coast or inland then a car can definitely be helpful! LAX has all major rental car companies. Turo is also a great option.

How do we RSVP?

There is no mail in RSVP, everything is online, wohoo! Click the RSVP tab at the top to RSVP for both events :)

Do we have a room block?

Answer

YES - if you are interested in staying at a hotel, there are recommendations for hotels under the "Travel" page. Marina has a ton of great hotels. The Ritz is a 10 minute walk to the boat/Saturdays venue. There are a few Marriotts as well. We have a room block at "The Marina Del Rey Hotel". Book through the link on the "Travel" page or call them and give our names for a discounted rate.

Is there transportation?

There will not be shuttles TO either events as people are staying all over the city, however, ubers/lyfts/taxis are all readily available in LA at all hours of the day! There will be a shuttle on Saturday night after the boat to the Marina del Rey Hotel & the after party at Gin Rummy

Are we going out to sea?!?

Answer

While we are not going into the ocean, The Fanta Sea Yacht, will leave the dock and slowly cruise around the Marina (which is a no wake zone) for the whole wedding. All guests board the boat at 4:30 and we come back to dock around 9.
